Education Requirements: B. Tech – Electrical or Electronics Engineer or Equivalent

Detailed knowledge / skills

• Ability to learn SW architecture design
• Create high level design logic
• Create SW specifications
• SW Development (SDLC)
• knowledge of standard communication protocols (serial, I2C, RS485, modbus, Uart)
• knowledge of good coding practices (MISRA, etc)
• PCBA SW operation check, function check – module, system, integration, etc

Tools

• IDEs, compilers, debuggers for microcontrollers
• CRO, logic analyzer, static analyzer
• JIRA, Github – tools for bug / SW project management,
• Must have HVAC background
• Basic c programming only – (Embedded C)
• Python or RTOS adds advatage (Real time operating Sysytem)
• SDLC
