Position: Field Service Engr I
3+ years experience with Experion DCS / PMS Platform.
Travel: The job will require more than 70% travel time (North Region).
The ideal candidate should be proficient in Honeywell DCS and PMS systems with a minimum of 2+ years of field experience. Must have deep knowledge of Honeywell Experion Platform with clear understanding of programming tools and software. Candidate should have full knowledge of PMS (Power management system) and should have experience in commissioning of ELS (Emergency Load Shedding) /RTU/NR etc. The job requires around-the-clock availability for phone support.
The job requires good customer communication skills and a willingness to assist the customer in times of emergency. Must be willing to travel on short notice as needed.
Must be able to handle customer requirements independently. The role requires active participation in the billing and collection process for a customer.
- BE/B. Tech Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical.
- Experience in installing Microsoft windows, Experion Servers, Stations & eServers etc.
- Experience in commissioning, configuration & troubleshooting of Experion Servers, Stations, ELS Servers, RTU (ML200/RC500/ Sixnet) controllers & FTE network, 61850 protocol, Isagraph, Integration with Numerical Relays.
- Experience in developing and troubleshooting HMI graphics, Control Strategies (Logic) & server scripting for plant automation and drive interlocking.
- Experience in troubleshooting Industrial network components Ethernet switches, terminal servers, NMS etc.
- Hands on experience with industrial communication protocols such as OPC, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, 61850.
- Previous industry experience or customer service experience
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Good presentation skills
- Knowledge of Configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco Switches, NMS.
- Knowledge of Automated Windows & Antivirus patching products like Managed Security Services (Relay Node, Service Node, WSUS) & Mcafee ePO Server.
